New horizons, different perspectives
It’s holiday season! Whether you’re partying night and day, hitting the sun-loungers for some rest and recuperation or exploring new countryside walks with the dogs, we all need a vacation sometimes, to break out of the daily routine and experience something new.
At Toucan, we love using our holidays to reflect and think about things that have gone well or aspects of our life we might want to change. Getting away gives a unique perspective and allows us to look at life through a new, preferably tortoiseshell-rimmed and fabulous, lens.
This summer, with international travel back on the cards for the first time in what seems like forever, we’re contemplating the truly global nature of business. As specialists in film, events and communications we’ve experienced a really fast pace of change as the world has adapted to a new normal that seems to shift almost daily.
We’ve become specialists in intelligent adaptation, helping our clients make the most of whatever the world has thrown at them. In June this year, we created a new style of hybrid event for our biggest client as they launched a new brand to 70,000 employees across the world with a live satellite broadcast from five global sites. The results were epic, and we’re using our holiday reflection to not only congratulate ourselves for a job well done, but to think about what we can do next as the world opens up again. We want to push the boundaries of events and sustainability even further for our clients, to help them set and achieve the bold ambitions they dream of.
Reflection is all well and good, but holidays are for kicking back and relaxing too, so this is Toucan dialling out for a few days to enjoy doing absolutely nothing. We’ll see you on the other side with the fully charged energy, focus and creativity our clients have come to expect. Pina Colada, anyone?
