VANISH AWARD-WINNING CAMPAIGN: CHANGING AD NORMS
Vanish clinched the Channel 4 Diversity in Advertising Award, valued at £1 million in C4 airtime, for their insightful ad supporting autism. A whopping 75% of autistic individuals emphasise the importance of maintaining the look, feel, and scent of their clothes. Given Vanish's dedication to prolonging clothing lifespan, they collaborated with Havas London and the charity Ambitious about Autism to spearhead a campaign spanning TV, PR/influencer engagement, and a physical exhibition at Oxo Tower gallery. Channel 4 established these awards to promote inclusivity in advertising, as only 4% of UK TV ads feature disabled individuals, despite 22% of the population having a disability - read here (3.5mins)
